Timeline
The calendar began shortly after the rise of the Red Sun.
96 years prior to O'Rahn - the world went into complete chaos, wizards have destroyed much of the land when suddenly the 'white moon' turns red. The moon no longer goes through phases - this is no full moon - when there is suppose to be a 'new moon' the sky turns completely black at night for 4 days.
No one knows why the moon turned red but everything went back to the dark ages. The people began calling it the Red Sun, all advances were lost and a new era begins.
O'Rahns master had something to do with the Red Sun - turns out his master is evil and is trying to harness the power of the Red Sun - he trains O'Rahn hoping to use his 'good' magic.
O'Rahn is now 30-35 years old is suspicious of his masters actions and discovers him killing villagers by sucking out their magic power and life force. Master N'Fen is responsible for the death of O'Rahns village and all the deaths surrounding O'Rahn.
During a ritual that was suppose to kill O'Rahn and give all magical power from the Red Sun to Master N'fen but something went wrong and O'Rahn somehow manages to get the power instead - this is how he becomes immortal.
Master N'Fen is the dark sentient being that takes over S'Daara. During her time with O'Rahn training she steals an earring that belonged to Master N'Fen this is how she is manipulated.
Red Sun - a spell cast on the moon to collect the magic/life power of all the people and it amplifies it drastically. It has been collecting for 120 years.
The Calendar began shortly after the Red Sun appeared.
The beginning of the Wizards-
Year 764 of the White Moon -
Kingdoms now govern portions of Iomi. Academy's, science and medicine are prominent and many wizards are hiding their powers from others or they are unaware of their abilities.
O'Rahn sees that there is corruption everywhere and the balance of light/dark/ and good/evil is toppling. He decides to go to villages to recruit young wizards.
Many wizards gather in an open field to learn magic from the Great Wizard O'Rahn who is revered, so many begin to make homes nearby that it soon builds itself into a village. As the years continue, the wizards are seen in a more positive light and are respected. They are now instrumental in places of high status.
O'Rahn visits a Kingdom in the year 1123 of the White Moon - when he comes across two young children, T'Let(11) and S'Daara(9) and he personally takes them in and raises them. They are shown to be extraordinary wizards and O'Rahn uses them in many dealings with others. They are trusted and well respected.
Year 1719 - S'Daara(604) finds and steals N'Fens pendant
Year 1721 - S'Daara(609) beings to poison the wizards
Year 1793 - The War of Magic begins in Iomi - S'Daara(669) T'Let(671)
Year 1856 - O'Rahn moves the wizards to Dragon's Space - S(729) T(731)
60 years of war in Iomi - during this time, S'Daara has created her own dark force to act independently of her however they still follow her orders

On the New World for a 800
• War of Magic - Year 35 of the Dragon - S'Daara(764) is sealed by T'Let(766) inside a large crystal after he won the battle between the two of them. He creates a clan of dragon/wizards and stays around for 50 years to make sure that the war is ended.
*S(764) does not age while she is inside the crystal. She uses her magic to create an opening in T'Let's barrier to leak out her magic and creates a shadowed self to continue the war.
*T(816) because he stayed around he is now far older than S'Daara.
**** Year 85 of the Dragon - when T'Let put himself under a spell with S'Daara, using his magic as a barrier to keep her inside/ Once sealed he will not age.
• State of Upheaval - 400 Years
During the time S'Daara uses her wizards to scout for particularly strong 17 year olds to see if they can be used for her gains and if not their power is 'leeched' away and sent to her through her earring. The 'coming of age' ceremony is when a person that is 17 years old is taught how to become a dragon. This skill is innate however this is a ruse for most as S'Daara's dark wizards use this as an opportunity to recruit people for her clan or to steal their magic.
If a person 'learns' the skill to become a dragon it is assumed that they will have complete control over their dragon state, however it is in fact a seal that is placed over the person that seals they magic abilities from growing and sends it to S'Daara's pendent. If the person chooses to train, he/she is taken to S'Daara's lair and becomes one of her 'Dark Ones' - a hidden clan under the control of S'Daara who are training an army. Their lair is a small island near S'Daara's clan - however no one knows of its existence outside a select few of her top guards.
Everything is chaotic - people are finding a place to live and are struggling for authority. Many clans are created during this period however most look to S'Daara's clan for stability as it is large and thriving.
Many groups are created, each with a specialty - many clans have villages that live outside the central location but are still considered part of the clan.
• Time of Rest - 300 Years
The land has been divided and everyone for the most part is living in peace. There are 5 main clans, varying in size, abilities, ethics etc. Many of these clans have villages that are under their protection. Some get along better with others however at this time all seem to be friendly.
• Time of Unrest - 100 Years -
Some of the clans and villages are acting out violently. Many women are taken by S'Daara's clan (as women have a better affinity to the darkness) and are never seen again.
60 Years into the Time of Unrest - the movement of the "Dark Ones" become more prominent and a woman is chosen to be the vessel for S'Daara's unborn child. While the child grow S'Daara teaches her magic through her shadowed self. When her daughter is 18 her mother finally breaks free of her confinement - she still has some power because of the pendent but is too weak to be out in front as a leader so she makes her daughter do it.
Her daughter spends 10 years moving between Clans trying to garner positive light and at the same time she is creating her own network against her mother as she thinks her mother is evil.
T'Let breaks free from his seal but S'Daara placed a seal on him that leeched away most of his power. He works for the next (10) years within his Clan preparing them for the up coming war that S'Daara is about to begin.
Although he has magic he is trying to regain what he had before and leaves much of the work to his dragons who are for the most part descendants of the original dragons that he put in place.
The leader of the clan is the strongest and will become T'Lets daughters mate. He has meet T'Let's daughter several times and they have a love/hate relationship.
No one is aware of T'Lets awakening except for the leader - who is the 6th generation dragon descended from the 1st dragon wizard appointed by T'Let.
S-799 T-841 Daughter - 53 Her mate - 67 ------------------- Appearances look to be around the age of 30 when their powers peek
- In the last 5 Years of the Time of Unrest -
S'Daara's clan reveals itself to be the ones behind the movements of the 'Dark Ones' and begins kidnapping other clans people, especially those with leadership and many of the females. They imprison the leaders and try to get information about their lairs and to convert them to S'Daara's side.
**********
This is where the main story begins: In the cell of one of the dark clans, one extremely strong Igmir - clan leader - is being restrained in a cell far away from the others however everyone knows 'something' is there because they can smell blood.
A female prisoner - who has dragons blood and can transform into a dragon if mated - from Iomi sets him free and working together they uncover some truths about the past and plans to begin a new war.
Dragons are real. They do not live in our world but a vast and changing world where the balance of power is in constant change. They are at war with themselves - separated into Kuvans, each fighting for power. However each Kuvan, suffers the same dilemma - there are no more females left; that are of age.
• The last leader and his Kuvan kidnapped all the females that he could find and put them in a deep sleep - this may turn out for the best because the Kuvans have been fighting and killing each other and if all the females die then that would be the end.
It is discovered that at a certain time of year the strongest dragons can pass through a portal to Iomi. The dragons use this as a means to collect females. A lot of females.
• Two wizards are battling - both sent to Dragons World - one is keeping to the law of his Master O'Rahn - the other wanting to control everything - her dark energy is causing the turmoil, she is trapped in Dragons World together with the Good Wizard.
Dragons were once human wizards. These wizards fought using magic and would transform themselves into beasts that could fly and use the elements. As they continued to use and perfect the transformation their bodies began to change permanently until through the generations it became an innate ability and all memory of how the dragons came to be were lost.
The wizards lived on Iomi but when their battles became too great the most powerful wizard created a new world and moved the battle there, leaving a portal open for those who wished to come back. No power was needed to pass through the the portal back to the Iomi (Earth Realm) however great power was needed to return to Dragons World. *Not being able to return to Dragons World would explain why some women have dragons blood.
WIZARDS:
Master Wizard - O'Rahn - is the one who created Dragons World(space) and was the mentor to countless pupils. He would only choose one wizard to pass his powers too - which started the War of Magic. When he realized the depths to which his students would go and the damage they were causing with their battles he created a portal and sent all the fighting wizards to Dragons World - at the time known as the Death's Field - to fight there. He told all the pupils that a portal will open back to the Earths Realm for any who wish to stop fighting and give up their desire for his magic, otherwise they will have to stay in this new place. He then 'disappeared' and waited for the final outcome. * He travels around Dragons World helping others and acting like a guide/counselor to anyone. He has however become a recluse of sorts and those who want to hear his advice has to seek him out which is very difficult and prove to him that you are worthy of receiving his counsel.
* Before O'Rahn disappeared he left the outcome of the War to his star students - T'let and S'Daara. He taught T'let the magic spell that would open the portal back to Iomi and taught S'Daara the spell that could transform her into a dragon and she was to use this spell to gain the attention of wizards to make them listen to his teaching as no one could transform into anything without severe consequences. Because T'let is more scholarly he is able to perform spells without uttering incantations and therefore is able to keep his portal spell a secret however Sa'Daara cannot do spells quietly therefore inadvertently teaches T'let whenever she performs her spell.
Good Wizard - Male - T'let - Can transform into a dragon - one of the 1st who can successfully do so - keeps the darkness contained deep in a mountain sealing in crystal. Many years after sealing the darkness away he seals himself around the darkness making another magical/protective barrier but before doing so he creates and recruits many wizards to form the 1st Kuvan. They are responsible for keeping the other wizards/dragons in line. Over the generations this Kuvan moves more behind the scenes and becomes known as the Lost Ones.
Bad Wizard - Female - S'Daara - Can transform into a dragon - one of the 1st who can successfully do so - wants to control everything but is stopped and imprisoned for centuries however before being sealed she leaked her power out to collect elsewhere and is able to free herself to start a new war for Dragons Space while the Good Wizard is still imprisoned. Her power takes on the form of a misty/shadowy like figure of a beautiful woman - a reflection of herself. She uses her projection to entice and enthrall others to become part of her Kuvan. This Kuvan is working under the illusion that they are bringing peace to the land however their actions are becoming more tyrannical as the years progress.
HISTORY OF THE WIZARDS:
Iomi is a place where people are born with the innate ability to use magic however not everyone can use it successfully. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be good with magic. Most people find out that they will never be able to use magic with any skill therefore abandons it - so those who can use it are rare and held in high regard. There are not many who could be called Masters of Magic as it take centuries to become one - but those who do study magic are able to prolong their life simply by using magic for good. (Law of Magic - what is done returns 3-fold) Therefore whenever a wizard uses magic to help others the magic is return 3-fold. Evil wizards were abundant - they would do bad things and the magic would decrease 3-fold however they found a way to prolong their lives - stealing magic of others and absorbing it into themselves thus increasing their power. Soon almost all the wizards 'disappeared' and the evil wizards died off. (Law of Magic - do not kill, else dangerous consequences befall you)
O'Rahn is a wizard that has been around since before anyone can remember. As a child, he was extremely irresponsible and mischievous and many people in his village despised him for causing trouble. He had experienced death first hand countless times and begins to fear it. One day he comes across a wizard who saves him from dying and begins to teach the young O'Rahn how to harness his magic and use it to save people. Years pass and O'Rahns fear of death becomes more evident when his master begins to die. Frantic, O'Rahn dedicates himself to finding a cure that will help his master and he finds it by scouring the books his master wrote and his master before - if one takes the life essence of the one you love .....**** some sort of spell for immortality.
O'Rahn become immortal and realizes that his desire to escape death is not a blessing but a curse when he begins to lose those that he loves. Centuries pass and after wandering the lands he decides to train young wizards in the Laws of Magic and his first students are the young children from the Kings City - he names them T'let and S'Daara. They were orphans who were abandoned and left for dead in the back streets of the Kings City. They worked together to survive. One day they saved an 'old man' from the guards by taking the blame for bumping into them. The cruel guards were going to throw the children into jail to be sent to a work camp when the 'old man' revealed himself to be the great wizard O'Rahn and told the guards that these two children had more honor in their hearts than anyone else in the Kingdom and he would not forget them - they became the first students of Master O'Rahn.
In a way they become his family, his children. He sees that T'let is more scholarly and consistent whereas Sa'Daara is headstrong and passionate. ** Yin and Yang - light and dark - calm and passion
Through O'Rahns teaching the wizard students begin to grow and flourish and help all those around Iomi. T'let stays true to his masters teachings, learning and growing but Sa'Daara takes the teachings in a different way especially the Law of Magic - 1) to have magic is to have power and 2) to have power is to give life. She takes this to mean that if you take magic you gain power, and if you have enough power you can become immortal.
While they are in training Sa'Daara somehow uses an incantation that invokes a 'being' that will help her gain power, however this being is evil and begins to warp her sense of self.(sentient beings conventionally refers to the mass of living things subject to illusion, suffering, and rebirth) She begins to cause strife and dissension among her fellow peers inciting the War of Magic - if you want immortality you must have power, to have power you must take magic. She begins rumors that O'Rahn will tell only one pupil who is worthy, the strongest the spell for immortality. The darkness begins to slowly change her when she is around other people, however when she is around T'let he has a calming affect on her and she seems more like her true self - this causes him not to see her change and cannot find the one responsible for causing the problems.
So now that the War has begun the world of Iomi is in turmoil, O'Rahn makes a decision to remove all the wizards from this world and take them somewhere else where no living person can get hurt. O'Rahn feels that something is wrong with Sa'Daara but the darkness hides itself from him and T'let as it senses they are powerful enough to reach her heart and get rid of him. He teaches T'let the spell that will open a portal to return any back to Iomi and teaches Sa'Daara how to turn into a dragon to inspire others to listen to his teachings again.
****O'Rahn use to turn into a dragon in Iomi many years ago and would sometimes continue to do so, thus legends were born of a huge beast that flies in the sky that can breathe fire and brings with it destruction. This will set the tradition of offering young women to the beast and when the dragons come back to Iomi to get females the people will believe that the beast has returned and to appease it, give it the girls.
When the War of Magic began they worked together to fight the wizards who came in groups to kill them. With Sa'Daara's help, T'Let would seal their magic and send them back to Iomi. However, Sa'Daara would work behind his back to create more rumors and gain allies to help her get power. She 'took control' of a powerful wizard Ba'Zel who then becomes the outward 'face of evil' and the one that T'Let is trying to stop, while she is controlling him from behind the scenes. This went on for years working together but she began to change more and more (she would take the magical powers of wizards and absorb them into herself giving the darkness more power over her. This caused her to lose herself more even around T'Let who had a calming affect on her.) and wanted to control the losing wizards instead of sealing their powers and sending them back to Iomi.
Eventually, the two split up going in different directions but it changed the course of the war because many wizards saw her as the savior while he was condemned for sealing away a wizards magic. She was known as the one who 'destroyed the evil wizard Ba'Zel' when in reality she moved him into the shadows of her guild and he became her loyal dog. The War of Magic seemed to be forgotten by most wizards and with Sa'Daara teaching her wizards how to transform into dragons their goals began to change. She taught them an incomplete spell that when they transformed into dragons she would steal their remaining magic and leave them with the ability to only change back and forth from a dragon.
***** This changed the species that lived in the world. As they were no longer wizards but dragon people their life span although still long, was not as long as the wizards life span which could last 700-800 years or longer depending on how the wizard uses his/her magic. Dragons can live 250 years however those that possess more magical power (control over multiple elements) will have longer life spans and so will their mates.
*She created a guild of wizards that were loyal to her, if she came across a wizard who did not or would not join her she 'let them go' however she would secretly kill them and absorb their powers. Those in her guild saw her as merciful and kind and they would die for her. They lived in a stationary place and were sent out on missions to find other wizards and gather information.
*He created an Order of Chants. These wizards believe the war is never going to end as long as there is magic being used for selfish reasons. They fight wizards and seal their magical powers and send them back to Iomi however if the wizards want to freely return to Iomi they may keep their magic but only after a seal is placed on them to cause no harm to others.
• This would explain how Dragons Blood can be found in some humans
• This would explain why some wizards and magicians lived in the times of humans
The Good and Bad wizard loved each other despite their different methods. Before they separated she became pregnant although she did not tell him she secretly used magic to seal the unborn child away somewhere. She semi-knows of the darkness inside her and in order to save her unborn child from being born with the darkness apart of her, Sa'Daara takes 'all of her goodness' and places it in the child as a way of protection. When T'Let sealed her inside the crystal and she leaked out her magic and began to slowly break the seal on her child, place the unborn baby inside a loyal servant to give birth too and raise until the child could be of use. But because he is so strong she could not leak out a lot of magic and it takes years before she can get enough out to make use of it. She would use her 'shadow' self to visit the child and teach her magic. Once she breaks free of her confinement, she retrieves her daughter and uses her to further her goals(the girl is about 15-18 yrs old) however once her daughter reaches a certain age(5-6) her father becomes aware of her and they begin to converse telepathically, since he is still sealed because Sa'Daara placed a dark seal on him.
The girl loves her father because he is positive and light, telling her of her mother and showing her images of the past telepathically, while her mother is forcing her to learn 'darkness' and uses her to continue the war as an ambassador that goes from Kuvan to Kuvan demanding their loyalty to her mother. While her parents were sealed away the mother used her daughter as a spy on the Kuvans, since no one would question a child, however the girl began creating a network of allies and worked against her mother in the war - a double agent.
She eventually becomes the mate of a dragon - possibly from her fathers 1st Kuvan. ********* See back Story -
Because the daughter is wrapped in her mothers goodness and her fathers she is the only person who is immune to her mothers dark persuasions. Her mother is unable to 'read' her and as such never suspects her of playing both sides
Wizards names have ' in the front for males and back for the females.
names need to be able to morph into dragon names
