The Quadrumvirate
The Four Gods of Man's Requirement
The Four
The Quadrumvirate became the standard for humankind during the Late Dawn, though early incarnations may have been erected by the extinct nomadic Navan people, who believed in a Good and Evil. The Quadrumvirate were more established at the Rising Sun, when physical incarnations were perceived by ancient human heroes.
The Palace of the Gods
The Afterlife is considered to be Man's own paradise. The Merciful God, Nauntu, is believed to carry the dead into the Afterlife, where he may forge his own final resting place.
At the Nadir, Nauntu and Sucoban will duel for the Fate of the World-- will actions be forgiven, or punished? Mercy or Justice? Life or death?
It is commonly believed that misdeeds will be punished by Sucoban. Other believers, however, favor the path of forgiveness paved by Nauntu.
The world began at First Dawn, when the Sun gave light on the First Day, and life was born. The world will end at the Nadir, when the Sun dips out of the sky forever, and darkness brings the end of all life.
