Kobold

Kobolds are small creatures that resemble humanoids with draconic features; scales, tails, claws, and sometimes wings. Some say they're descendants of dragon and humanoid hybrids, others say they're the result of experimentation on dragons, and still others think they're dragons under a curse to never be 'real' dragons like their kin.

But no one knows the truth, they just know kobolds exist. Many are eager to serve dragons no matter their actions and temperaments, but others are more content to live simple lives among other races and do what they can to use their small size to their advantage.
