Slip Lich
Tree creatures with wandering souls separate from their body
Tree spirits, forest fairies
humanlike shape save for large stumplike leg endings, they can willingly change their surface appearance, but usually do not appear with facial orfices besides eyes. do not have genetalia to cover, but they often grow "clothes" directly out of their "skin"
the "skin" and "hair" of a slip lich is just the bark and leaves of whatever flora they embody.
dependant on plant species. bush slip lich are rather short by human standards, while large trees can be inhumanly tall.
While they all usually have a recognizable humanloid shape with tree features, body type, height, flora type, and color vary frequently.
In a way to halfway imitate humans, slip lich will grow coverings from their skin or even handmake halfhearted garments to tie around themselves.
Slip Lich have two bodies. they have a main plant which acts as a main body, or the innards of the slip lich, which the humanoid vessel for the spirit will bring sustenance to. in olden times this was confused as worship, but it is in fact a unique evolution for sentient magical flora to get the sustenance they need.
they are kind of just. sentient trees they are very survival based and don't really have interest in human activity unless they are a carnivorous breed that would want big game like that.
