Half-Elf
Half-Elves, being a mixed race, may not always feel they fit in the worlds of humans or elves. They are known for their curiosity and ambition, but also for their love of nature and art. They can live for over 180 years, and are seen as adults when they reach 20.
There is little difference between the genders, though men tend to be very slightly taller and heavier than women.
Distinguished from humans by their grace and lithe bodies, and from elves by their more stocky forms and facial hair. Their ears are smaller and rounder than most elves.
Skin colours can be very varied, as they can lie anywhere on the normal spectrum of human and elf.
Hair colours, types, and styles can be very varied, as they can lie anywhere on the normal spectrum of human and elf. Men can grow facial hair, unlike their elven counterparts.
Between 100-180lb, heavier than elves.
Like elves, they may sway towards a chaotic leaning.
They dislike rules and authorities and can be seen as unreliable or unpredictable.
Half-Elves often lead solitary lifestyles, struggling to fit into both human and elven societies. They be trappers, foresters, hunters, or adventurers, visiting civilisation only rarely. Those who do live in society may use their charm to be diplomats or swindlers.
Half-Elves are often accepted in human society but less so in elven. In large cities, they may group together in small communities of their own.
Half-Elves may take names following either human or elven conventions.
A Half-Elf character may be motivated to change a society they see as unfair, unwelcoming, or unaccepting of difference.
