Tall
Golden brown hues
The Onni are most comfortable their armor of hides from slain bestiary. Helmets are seldom worn due to their powerful horns, though a steel faceplate is not uncommon.
Horns that can range from light stubs to magnificent rams, in one or two pairs.
Heavy, muscular
Civilization. The Onni are nomadic and lack moral principle and mannerism. They are hellbent on warfare and combat and have little concern for anything else.
Brute strength, riding, marksmanship and combat
The Onni do not believe in any form of religion, but do believe in trial by combat and the idea of one's "time to die".
The Onni favor mountainous regions throughout all of Halerond, however due to their nomadic lifestyle, they can be found in nearly all corners of the world.
The Onni prefer raw meat from their kills.
As a Nomadic race, the Onni are rarely found civilized and prefer craftsmanship over trade.
Onni are often enlisted as mercenaries and monster hunters, and can occasionally be found settled as craftsmen.
Onni weaponry is slightly more advanced than the traditional sword and shield, bow and arrow type. Onni carry multi-pronged spears, hand-catapults and sickles-- exotic weaponry fit for slaying incredible beasts.
Onni often participate in lethal duels and grand festivities involving savage monster hunting, and the occasional "last man standing" event. It is customary for the Onni wear the bones of their fallen brethren around their necks, wrists, and ankles.
The Onni inhabited Halerond since First Dawn. When the Lydans arrived, the Onni welcomed their customs and taught them to become the proficient monster hunters they are known to be. However, since the introduction of Humankind, the Onni have become distant, favoring the war-hungry Humans for their similar destructive practice, and the opportunity of glory through mercenary work.
