gender isnt declared until children reach adulthood, elves retain their surname after marriage, but the children take the name of the older partner

Elves reach physical maturity about the same age as humans, though elves typically claim adulthood around 100 years old and can live to be about 700.

Dexterity score increases by 2 and Wisdom increases by 1.
