It's the very power source of magic itself, so it's very powerful - but it highly depends on how the owner uses their own soul for awareness. Each person must be taught to guard it properly by strengthening it.

When used in its proper/natural state, this is aligned with good

Depends on the user and how they use it; if used while attached to the human it belongs to, said human will be highly respected - but if it's detached from a human, the wielder (whether the soul belongs to them or not) will generally not be respected by others, as it will most likely be used for evil/carelessness

*If a soul is detached from its owner and kept in a Crystal Amulet, using its energy to power the wielder's magic will drain the soul

*If the owner suffers an emotionally traumatic event, their capacity to use their soul for any purpose will be diminished (depending on the severity). This trauma must be addressed in order for the owner to use their soul properly.

Proper usage requires the owner to be in tune with themselves.

*For occupants of La Magie Village, this can be done by being trained in the Pkinism religion. This requires the owner to be taught by a Pkin Mentor.

*For the group of Fire Wielders in The Flame Network saga, this requires meditation to either mentally detach from their Twin Flames (aka allowing thoughts about their Twin Flame to arise, but training themselves to not obsessively attach to those thoughts when their fire magic isn't needed), or using their soul thoughts to manifest controlled thoughts about their Twin Flame in order to wield their fire magic for specific purposes in controlled settings. Without this training or any water sources, unexpected fire hazards are an inevitability.
