Biological Zombie
Virous-Z or similar condition is the cause of this type of zombie. They are not truly dead, but can take a lot more punishment than normal as they have a kind of healing factor.

Explaining the Biological Zombie:
These are human infected with some version of Virous-Z. They stay as they were when infected, so they can be killed a lot easier than the typical zombie, which requires the head to be destroyed to kill it.
This means the environment can kill them easily, maybe easier, so long as the zombie ignores its body entirely.
Horror then overcomes the end of the world.

Bite transmits the infection, but in the beginning it was airborne, so it infected many people in the cities. However, as time went on, rabies took over, as the population spread to avoid it.
Victims of Virous-Z are not dead, though they don't have the same level of intelligence they had before this is mostly due to the hunger and rage brought on by the virus.
Zombies have been in literature for centuries, following the resident evil story line a little. Main differences is that the zombies are not truly dead and are easier to kill.
Zero morals here.
Extreme hunger, rage, and higher than normal body temperature. If allowed to live long enough, the zombie will turn into a higher level of itself.
God made zombies to clean the world.
Kills most of the world's population over a year. As time goes on, however, humanity can eliminate this kind of zombie by using the environment and actively hunting them.
The Biological Zombie is a type of zombie that is mindless and can be killed like a normal living being. Think rabies, but faster acting and mostly affecting humans.
Some version of Virous-Z, is needed to make these zombies.
