Karu Maa is a long strip of land surrounding Aurinkoinen Luola and dividing it from Kehitys. It is very barren, with wilted greenery, abandoned industrial projects and rogue fortresses.

Karu Maa was developed as a peace treaty during a battle between a group of Aurinkoinen Luola's scouts and Kehity's spies. The government of Kehitys decided that neutral ground would benefit both areas, therefore dedicating a stretch of unused and infertile ground to rebels.
