The Kesper Mountains are located in the northeastern corner of Winter, adjacent to the capital, Boarhelm.

The mountains are cold and rocky with heavy snowfall during the rainy season. The lower slopes are home to pine forests as well as some wildlife. The animal and plant populations get sparser and sparser the higher one goes, but some have become perfectly adapted to the harsh environment.
