A floating island above a massive lake, from which the four life rivers flow.

Some people say a greedy group of people saw how the life rivers flowed from an island in the middle of the [name] lake. Wanting to control the water flow, they used magic to levitate the island and put a barrier so that water would only flow when they wanted. It accomplished nothing tho because during the winters the island bottom froze with atmospheric/groundwater, so come summer the snowmelt would replenish the lake and rivers. Lol

Others say it's a defense tactic; to protect the school during Iorgana's War, the old headmaster raised the island so that no one could get to it.
