Religious city

Already contested prewar. Jerusalem was a center for religion for Centuries it was safe from the Onslaught of nukes due to its religious significance and the Massive amount of AA installations in Israel. But it still wasn't safe from the war. Nowadays its a warzone for a ancient conflict between the new Templars and the New Palestine Kingdom. And outside of the war it's battered by sandstorms.

New Templars: A faction dedicated to rebuilding the holy land and cleansing heretics. They are known to use crucifying those who arnt following their religion and their enemies. They are based in the Great Temple(Temple Mount) which over the years have been built into. Fortress. And have set up outposts in the Church of Holy Sepulchre, Via Doloroso, The tower of david where they hang people

New Palestine Kingdom: Now that to govts are preventing their rise the NPK want ro rebuild their ancient land by any means necessary. This has caused them to be in conflict with the New Templars. They have a Outposthidden in the Solomon quarries. And have a FOB in the Kidron Valley.

Silent Order: Only faction to not be hated bt the New tempalr the Silent order are descendants and followers of the Latrun Monks. They made a vow of silence which over the centuries made their voice boxes become broken.

Jarhead Merc Company: a Mercenary company that's descendants of the US Military personal from the nearby base the Jarheads take their name from a old movie that was left over and now are a feared Mercenary group in the Holy Wasteland

The Quarter: A settlement built in the Old Quarter. The Quarter is where the New Templar will do public Crucifixions.
