The Utah Capital of Salt Lake was a called the Crossroads of West for its coal and steel. And also its airfield being Extremely important plus the ICBM service base.The city was a definite target for nuclear warheads with 1 hitting behind MT Olympus. And another hitting the Bountiful area. But the city held a dark secret. A tesing site chemical weapons and also the Origin of the western Mutants.

NAR: The NAR has a strong presence in Salt lake due to the Dugway mutants and the cities location they are trying to find a way to defeat western mutants who Originated from Dugway. NAR are based in the Hill AFB.

Dugway mutants: the Possible Origin of all or atleast most Western mutants they originated from the Omega 8 Virus which was being tested there before the bombs dropped. Obviously based in the Dugway site.

New Mormon: Remnants of the Mormons that lived in salt lake the Mutants regularly attack them so they trust their protection in their guards They have a uneasy relationship with NAR members. Based in the City of Mormon (Mormon) They are in conflict with the Mutants of Dugway and are in a Uneasy relationship with the NAR cause alot arnt Mormon. They also have settlements around the area.

Molossia: Originally a Micronation prewar that nobody recognized. The descendants of the family who made the group made it a true nation after they raided a military base and now have a tank. Their a dictatorship and hostile towards the NAR due to old records from their Saint saying the US made them pay money.

The Gold Rail: A trading group set on rebuilding the American railroad. They are allied with the NAR who want the same and have kept their promise since the Salt lake railways atleast are useable again and have allower massive trade.

RailWreckers: the primary enemy of the Gold Rail. The Railwreckers are a Bandit group created to raid the railroads they only had success once where they caused a train to derail. But every day they get bolder and soon they will have alot more success.

Trolley: made out of the Trolley square. Trolley is a settlement of mixed Cultures which has made it a melting pot but besides fist fights nothing bad has happened. They have a good relationship with the Mormons who they trade with constantly.

Bingham: A civilized mutant town made in the Bingham mine. Its possibly the highest amount of civil mutants in the Wasteland. Alot of their people became Mormon which the religion has helped keep them civilized of course alot of mormons believe their a curse on Gods creation. But theres a good amount of people who believe their good.

GoldSpike: A town made in the Goldenspike Historical site. Its the only settlement in Salt Lake thats fully allied with the NAR due to the NAR making their dream if working trains a reality.
