In the south of Mor Rhoding, something fell a long time ago. South of it lies The Wasteland, though no one is sure the two are connected.

Every major institution has tried to study it, but they've learned nothing and lost so many researchers to whatever strange aura the object has. As such they've issued warnings to stay away and no longer officially send expeditions to the area. People have ignored the warnings and headed there, but they don't return. Their bodies can be seen from a distance, laying dead and mummified as the animals know better than to go near the place and even mold doesn't seem to want to grow.
