Tiverlin Cave

Located southeast of The Crystal River Academy sits Tiverlin Cave, a massive cavern system full of crystals. The mineral composition of these crystals makes them especially effective in the creation of magical devices such as spellcasting focuses, magical items, and helping with the casting of magical enchantments for mundane items.

The Academy keeps a tight reign on the cave system, however. They've mapped it extensively, closed off entrances to deeper tunnels that do not contain the crystals, and have the entrances locked down. They understand that the crystals are valuable and need to be protected from over harvesting, especially from those who would only look at them as a means of profit.
