A mysterious forest located in the eastern part of the world. No matter what the weather in the surrounding area this forest is always in winter - always snow on the ground, the waters within frozen over, and the trees being of pine and the like that don't shed their leaves in cold weather and so can survive such a harsh environment.

The locals will not visit, claiming a curse is upon the forest that causes it to be as such. Even animals will not cross into its snowy boundaries, as if they sense something that most others cannot and know to avoid it. Few who go in come back, those who do are often gravely injured and pass away from wound or exposure back in the warmer climate, leading to many rumors and superstition and very few concrete answers as to just what is inside this place.
