Kaf
'Tis a fun little western boi. Is a sneaky little trading country.
ZUP YALL WE ARE THE FUN ONES WE GOT THE BEST PARTIES AND ALSO SOME SWEET TRADE DEALS. Also ruled by a gang.
In western Vansia, there were a bunch of countries that weren't conquered by the Luverin Empire (the empire broke before it could take over). They didn't fight much with each other, but there were a few civil wars and revolutions here and there. THESE ARE THE WESTERN BOIZ.
When the Luverin Empire broke, the western boiz were happy because 1) they weren't going to get conquered, and 2) They're the most stable countries around. Countries in the northwest are being attacked by broken empire pieces, countries in the plain west are perfectly fine because of the giant mountain range in the middle of the continent, and countries in the southwest are mostly fine because the countries around the south end of the mountain range are in the rainforest, and if they come out of the rainforest then they'll have a disadvantage because they're not used to fighting in plain ol' land.
Now it is time for Kaf's story to split from the rest of the countries' stories. The two most important countries are Havar (who we shall NOT BE DISCUSSING AT THIS POINT IN TIME) and Kaf, who is a cool and trading country. Kaf trades with everyone, including both sides in a war. Kaf is notorious for having just about any goods you need, even if it's something super, super rare. But everyone's cool with Kaf being sneaky, because Kaf has some sweet trade deals. It is run by a gang, and their leader is really, really shady and also really cunning, and everyone's still fine with it because MONEY. The gang is called Inferno, which is kinda cliche but it's their name so whatever.
It's story time. Once upon a time, before Inferno took over, there were a few rival gangs who wanted control: the Winterwolves, Greenwing, Inferno (of course), and the Phalanx. Inferno and the Winterwolves were the two main groups. The Phalanx was made up of incredibly elite fighters, but they had no more than 12 people. Greenwing didn't have strong enough leadership, and eventually there was a mutiny. Greenwing became Darkwing, which was more dangerous but also basically just a cult, and they fell to the Winterwolves. The Winterwolves would've won the gang war, but the Phalanx made a secret alliance with Inferno and helped them with the last battle. The Phalanx surrendered to Inferno, and became a cool team for them. They lived happily ever after. The end.
Storytime's over now. The leaders of Kaf/Inferno have all been great politicians and businessmen, being really sneaky and cutthroat. They're great at twisting words and finding loopholes. The next leader is sometimes the child of the current leader, or can just be whatever kid the leader decides they like.
The leader of Kaf during the Novic-Terresian War is a man named Frey. He is a sneaky sneaky man. Kaf is making good profit selling weapons and weapons to both Novarren and Terresia, and occasionally to the Arovar elementals as well. Frey is making sure to keep up with all the gossip and secrets flying around.
Keronde was chilling while everyone else burns. Kaf is laughing while everyone else burns. The end.
That one civil war/gang war/whatever you want to call it
Hoo nose
