Yateti is a large coastal town in Permorsi Čipan, built into the cliffs of a sea inlet. It is known to have existed for over five hundred years.

Skyball has been the most popular sport in Yateti for longer than anyone can remember. The skyball team is called Ateke sa Yateti.

Various mammoth-riding disciplines often draw large crowds, but they aren't as well established as skyball.

Cultural mixing in recent years has brought other sports to the town.

Yateti uses an older legal system than the rest of the country, which relies more on rehabilitation than punishment.

In the last twenty years, an increase in Sobaka gangs in The Old City has forced Apote gangs out and into nearby towns, such as Yateti. Crime rates have increased significantly.

Apoki is the most common language in Yateti, spoken by the majority of residents. Sobakaâ is spoken by a small but significant minority.

Yateti has a warm, humid climate.

Yateti is known for its citrus fruit orchards.

Yateti has existed since before history was recorded in the area. Oral histories suggest the area was permanently settled seven to ten hundred years ago and seasonally inhabited before then.

Yateti's proximity to the Blantajr Bunker made it the base of operations for the Apota during the Surface War.
