Human in origin, a simple language meant to be spoken by as many races as possible.

It was developed through the necessity of commercial relations, and though it changes some among regions, it is somewhat basic and easy to learn.

Of note, it's rare to use Lower Common in the arts, such as poetry or music.

Lower Common has variations within some races due to their natural abilities to produce different sounds. Lower Common was developed primarily by races with speech abilities similar to humans, leaving forcing some races to fend for themselves a bit when unable to reproduce a certain sound.
