The Pearl of Athamuse was created much like Siren Guard, out of spite. The dwarves dug under the Ocean but the floor collapsed and flooded the majority of the keep. The dwarves knowing that they would not cause a simple collapse of that magnitude when they dig investigated the collapse. It was due to local merfolk that had warred with the dwarves since the founding of Siren Guard. The dwarves eradicated the merfolk fighting all the way to their capitol and taking thier queen, Athamuse, captive. They forced her into labor to fix the breach. Athamuse refused to fill the breach with the dwarven inelegant design but instead casting a spell that created a bubble that would collapse if she were to be killed, thinking this would save her life for the time being. She told them that even if they fixed the breach, if the bubble failed the collapse would destroy anything the could build. The dwarven builders and artisans took this as a challenge and the engineers spent many sleepless nights trying to figure out how to save the breach. The idea that would later become The Pearl came from a young artist who simply asked if they just built their own bubble. Work began immediately, giant gems dug from the deepest mines were cut to shape, engineers and artisans working together at a breakneck pace. The king brought Athamuse up from the dungeons and took her to the center of the dome. Athamuse fell to her knees mouth agape tears streaming down her face to the heavens. "I look apon a Pearl formed by man and blessed with beauty of the gods. Leave me here or kill me for I wish to never look apon anything for the rest of my life." Athamuse said when she finally found her voice. The King took pity on Athamuse "The weave consist of revenge, but also forgiveness, take up the loam and use this to save the souls of your people." Athamuse stood and removed her coral crown snapping it in half and handing it to the King. "Show me the way of the weave and I will be its most humble servant from now until my last breath."
Athamuse's guilded skull with sapphire tears still looks up from the center of the temple to this day
