Faina's handgun and preferred weapon of choice.
The Glock G43X is a standard issue, 9x19mm pistol with a 9 round capacity (10 with bullet in chamber). Faina's gun appears to be standard issue with a dark navy blue frame and a silver-blue slide but for the custom engravings. The Ravagers stole the handgun during a weapons heist; it was already custom designed this way when Faina received it.
Unknown
The Ravagers picked up this handgun during a weapons heist prior to Faina joining, and sat unused in their armory for a short time. When Faina joined, Sam needed something on the smaller side for her to handle and comfortable to conceal-carry on her tiny frame. He just so happened upon this one gathering dust in their stash. He "taught" her to shoot with it. (She insists she already knew because no kid grew up in Alaska without having basic hunting rifle training; every household owned a gun in case wild animals became a problem.)
Either way, it quickly became Faina's go-to weapon of choice and is the only belonging she still owns from prior to Bear River. Although she would never admit to it, she is sentimental of it and does her best to keep it in good shape. Still to this day she prefers it over anything else.
It's indistinguishable from any other handgun in its make. It's plain, ordinary, and unmagical, and Faina would balk at the idea of modifying or enchanting it in some way.
Because of the custom markings, while no one else would really pay it much mind or notice, any former member of the Ravagers would easily recognize the pistol.
Faina most often wears it in a thigh-strap holster when working with Trinity or out on a job that requires it, but her conceal-carry can either be in the carrier strapped to her side under her arm (if wearing a covering or jacket large enough to conceal the straps) or strapped across her lower back (if she is not). She never wears anything that can be considered skin-tight enough for the concealment to be a concern.
She also does not ordinarily carry her weapon on a day-to-day unless she has cause. Lately the need to carry is an everyday occurrence.
