Excruciatingly heavy except to Jesse. Not because of any magical properties, she's just incredibly strong.

Roughly the beginning of the story

Jesse's wild magic poses as a danger and hazard to everyone around her so her wife, Elizabeth, created these special bracelets/ anklets, so Jesse could better control her magic. However, they must be remade every few months because they get worn out after consistently controlling her magic. If Jesse is under too much emotional duress or uses too much magic, the bracelets/anklets will break right then and there.

Elizabeth's goal is to make a perfected pair so not only can it completely suppress the Wild Magic in Jesse, but also it can last indefinitely and allow her to express herself without the fear of hurting anyone.
