Nano-Embolization, Emboli nanites, embolites, emoblizers
Nanites injected into the bloodstream; they're programmed to clump together and occlude the blood vessel once they've reached a specified destination, to prevent blood flow to that area. They replace traditional embolization techniques: guidewires with catheters.
Nanite embolization can be used to treat a series of conditions, and is namely used to stop internal bleeding, block the movement of aneurysms, or starve tumours.
Could be used to cut off the supply of blood to vital parts of the body, including the brain, inducing artificially-caused strokes, heart attacks, or aneurysms.
