The Padlock

It's a padlock that looks similar to one used in prisons during the 19th century. Also called the Lock of Christ.

Is the physical lock to the gates of Hell. It is on Earth however if the key is used to unlock the gates to Hell will be opened to demons.

After Longinus pierced the body of Christ his blood stained the weapon for centuries before it was collected and used to make 3 padlocks. These padlocks can close gates to hell. The locks cannot break or deteriorate.

So some dude stole Jesus' blood and dripped it on some padlocks to stop an invasion from Hell.
