Ash’s “fire gauntlets” are advertised as everything-proof combat gloves that can use and expel energy for combative purposes. Because Ash is Emberwooden, she has lots of excess radiant and thermal energy, so her combat gloves expel fire according to her will. They also prevent Ash from accidentally injuring others, as she couldn’t be in contact with non-Emberwooden people lest she burn them.
