A form-fitting brown leather bomber jacket with a cropped cut and a collar and cuffs that resemble the texture and color of a lion’s mane, blending seamlessly into the jacket’s regal theme. The back features an intricately embroidered golden lion head, which is sentient and known as Leoquin. The lion’s features are proud and majestic, with subtle, almost imperceptible movements, such as the faint shifting of its eyes or a soft glow. These movements are so delicate that onlookers may not notice unless they are paying close attention. The sleeves are sleek with faint golden stitching, and the front zipper is polished brass, adding to its stylish allure.
Weathered brown leather, collar and cuffs made from fur-colored fibers that match a lion’s mane, golden thread, and a brass zipper.

• Critical Hit Nullifier: When the wearer is hit by a critical hit, the attack is nullified and instead becomes a miss. However, this twist of fate leaves the wearer slightly unbalanced, causing their next successful attack to deal half damage.
• Fateweaver’s Gambit (3/day): The wearer can alter any roll (their own, an ally’s, or an enemy’s) to a natural 20 or a natural 1. This decision must be made before the result of the roll is revealed. Each use imposes a stacking -1 penalty to all rolls until the wearer’s next long rest.
• Ebb and Flow of Fortune: The jacket passively grants a +2 bonus to AC and saving throws, reflecting the wearer’s heightened connection to fate. Additionally, when the wearer rolls a natural 1 on any roll, the jacket allows one reroll (once per turn).
• Twist of Fate (1/day): As a reaction, the wearer can force an enemy within 30 feet to reroll a critical hit against an ally. If the second roll misses, the enemy suffers disadvantage on their next attack.
• Leoquin’s Quips: While there are no mechanical penalties, the jacket’s sentient lion, Leoquin, has a knack for making sarcastic comments at the worst times:
• When the wearer rolls poorly: “Well, that was…impressive, in all the wrong ways.”
• When the wearer rolls well: “At last! Someone worthy of my brilliance!”
• During tense moments: “No pressure, but everyone’s watching—and I do mean everyone.”
This witty and prideful commentary adds comedic flavor to the jacket, creating opportunities for roleplaying without imposing mechanical drawbacks.
• Attunement: Requires attunement by a character with a Charisma of 13 or higher. The jacket resonates best with characters who lean toward chaotic or neutral alignments.
• Activation: Passive effects activate automatically. Active abilities like Fateweaver’s Gambit and Twist of Fate require the wearer’s conscious intent.
• Fateweaver’s Gambit: 3 uses per long rest.
• Twist of Fate: 1 use per long rest.
