Aurums

The main currency used in Terrata, Marshroom Kingdom, and Ludo. Coins currently in circulation include:

• Aurum (AU): worth about $10 USD. Made of gold. About the size of a quarter.


• Argen (AG): worth 0.1 AU or $1. Made of nickel. Most common for small daily purchases such as food.


• Aeramen (AE): worth 0.01 AU or 10 cents. Made of tin. Common among young children.


• Apten (AP): worth 50 AU or $500. Made of platinum. Rare; smaller villages may not recognize or accept.


• Aladun (AL): worth 5000 AU or $50,000. Made of Palladium. Very rare; only seen in the largest towns and cities.

In the Marshroom Kingdom, merchants sometimes use banknotes notarized through the proper channels to represent large amounts of money without needing to carry around the physical coin.
