The Silent Court
A cult dedicated to the will and ways of Hex, an immortal being of chaos
The Silent Court was formed in the years of The Divide, a cataclysmic war that ended in Hex's defeat and the banishment of the gods. The Court was created from the zealous minority who supported and worshipped Hex and sought to carry out Their will.
To free Hex and allow Them to establish a kingdom of chaos undisputed
The four ancient relics and their chosen champions were foretold long ago to be the one thing standing in Hex's way. In the thousands of years since the gods' banishment, it has been the Court's main goal to destroy them.
Because the cult's dedication to chaos leads them often to delusional violence, if they were discovered they would likely be imprisoned or executed. However, if they were to leave, they would be hunted down by the other members or even face Hex's wrath upon Their prophesied return.
The basics are provided to members such as provisions, water, clothing, and temporary and permanent shelters. Other than that, they also keep weapons, alcohol, substances, and various other means of causing chaos on hand.
The Silent Court is currently run by Casreaus Hi'dalga, a former member of Autumn. Hi'dalga takes the role of the High Priest and is believed to be a conduit for Hex to impose his will through. Directly below him is the Seer, a mysterious position that involves the keeping of sacred writings. After that are the various sect leaders, their officers, the members, and the prisoners.
Everything about the Silent Court is meant to be a mockery of the structure of Domainism. The name is a reference to the Five Courts, five separate churches dedicated to the Domainist gods. They keep a holy text called The Book of Shadow, which serves the same purpose for them as the Domainist Manuscripts do for others.
