Coming off of the aftermath of the war on witches, the military began to be built. With the witches gone and then angels nowhere in sight, the humans who had been in the rebel group started a military that would protect the humans from any other attacks from demons. As time went on and as the people in the original rebel group began to die off, the blame was shifted onto the witches who had attacked them in the first place. Soon, the original goal of the military was forgotten and a new goal took place: to eradicate all of the witches.
