The Kelalin Family

The Kelalin family of Elves from Yhimming were the oldest ruling couple of them all, until The Great Disaster struck and killed the long ruling mother and father. Before that though, the family were rather lax on their laws and restrictions. Generally people here were happy due to the low amount of laws that were in place, however, it did have some caveats, like some people had a hard time getting treated due to the inconsistent prices of some churches.

The Kelalin family don't have a lot of laws in place, you don't even need a hunting license to hunt and while they do tax, it's a trivial tax that nobody really minds paying. It helps that they have the smallest population to rule over so that it's easy to keep order, however, given that they don't restrict most things, a lot of responsibility is not in their hands. Hospitals, security, and much more are all handled privately. This did change a bit after the Great Disaster, but not by too much so things are still pretty lax within the country and the family. They have started to take control of the prisons, given the mass increase of incarcerations.
