Mandrake Root
This root has serrated edges all
along its body that often cause injury to Herbalists that do not properly know how to handle it.
Very variable in size and shape, with a maximum length of 45 cm (18 in). They are usually either elliptical in shape or wider towards the end (obovate), with varying degrees of hairiness.
The leaves are borne in a basal rosette. A tan, and brown root.
When stripped of its outer skin, the soft tender center can be
eaten with relative ease and is often used by Doctors to reduce pain from poison or disease.
