Custard Egg Tree
A hand-sized fruit with a hard shell containing bright white edible flesh covering a soft core of a cream colored pudding-like substance dotted with small black seeds.
The outer shell has bumps over its green surface which are similar in appearance to ostrich skin.
The outer shell is the color of Sap Green, the fleshy membrane is Bright White and the custard interior is Ivory Cream, with black seeds.
The tree that the fruit grows from has a grey-brown bark and dark green leaves.
It can grow to the maximum size of 7 inches long and 3 inches in diameter
The tree which grows the fruit itself can grow up to 10 feet tall
When cut open, it smells similar to Lemons or Citron
It has a strong lemon taste with a hint of a floral aftertaste.
