Tiamat has forged a secret alliance with Arcane General Aetherion, a Sereth leader on the Council of Luminaris, subtly convincing him that the Sereth are destined to rule. She manipulates Aetherion into promoting Sereth supremacy, knowing that this push for dominance will ultimately sow conflict and weaken other powerful factions.
However, Tiamat’s true goal is not the ascendance of the Sereth but rather the return of dragonkind to power. She anticipates that the Sereth, in their overreach, will eventually fall, taking their enemies down with them. Through Aetherion, she maneuvers the Sereth into conflict, aiming to clear a path for dragons to reclaim their place as rulers of the world amid the chaos.
