Every year, the capital of Winter, Boarhelm, hosts a hunt known as The Great Boar Hunt in the name of Ka'van and the founding of their city. High born men and women from all over the domain come to participate in this 3-day venture that always concludes with a feast and a contest. The contest determines the best kill as decided by the king or queen themself, and the winner receives a cash prize and bragging rights for a whole year.
Before the time of chaos, Ka'van frequently visited the Vale, but mostly to go hunting. When he did interact with humans, it most likely had to do with magite.
The time of chaos, the banishment of the gods, Fae's disappearance
Ka'van was created by Fae as their son and given reign over the Winter Domain. He became the god of metallurgy and strength, as well as the wild hunt. He used his time in the Vale to teach the humans how to unearth a substance called magite.
Ka'van created The Circlet of Ice upon the gods' banishment. The Circlet of Ice
