Changeling

Much rarer and much more efficient versions of Formless Horrors, changelings blend into their environments perfectly.

Eldritch creature

While a changeling may be partial to darker colours, they have no universal colours.

Changelings can mimic the shape of any preexisting species, and can even shift into unique forms not attributed to any living animals.

They are extremely malleable but cannot grow bigger than 10-12 feet.

Changelings are frighteningly good at copying the physical attributes of another creature. While many prefer human or humanoid forms, some are more partial to animalistic forms.

Dependent on the animal being copied

While unaggressive changelings exist, most are at least capable of incredible violence and even more pick up a life of crime to sustain themselves.

Changelings may adopt the fighting style of one animal or another, preferring that form of combat overall.

While this is mainly dependent on the specific changeling, the fastest recorded speed one could reach was ~50 MPH

Their shapeshifting is impeccable, nearly perfect. They lack the tells that Formless Horrors have and are in general incredible at persuasion.

Their blood is incredibly hot compared to a human's, making them extremely sensitive to warmth in general.
Changeling's can not shift their eyes. They must keep the colour and number of the eyes they emerged with.

Their blood is sometimes used in pigments and dyes and their eyes are often taken as trophies or, more humanely, as mementos.

Like Formless Horrors, Changelings have incredible vision. While they may be a bit more "human" in their seeing capabilities, they're still able to see from uncanny distances.

Changelings are also worse off when it comes to hearing. Theirs is a little bit better than a Horror's, but only a little.

Changelings have around the same intelligence as an average human. Some may be smarter or less smart depending on different factors throughout their life.

While they can live anywhere with the right accommodations, they live best in cool climates.

Changelings are omnivorous with a preference to meats and animal byproducts.

Changelings adopt the predators of the animal counterparts. While changelings are considered humans under Asgardian law, poaching is unfortunately a common practice among particular circles.

Changelings typically go for large and nutrient-rich animals, though they are able to and will eat anything if they're desperate.

Like Formless Horrors, Changelings derive from Ginnungagap and are practically its offspring. However, Changelings are much more diverse and unique. How or why this divergence happens is currently unknown.
