Six legged creature roaming on fields of Fayev

Dirty, dark brown fur on legs and torso, and long, dark green hair covering whole head, neck and back; sometimes individuals have birthmarks that are beige, unregular patches, and usually appear on legs and stomach.
There are two other color variants, that do appear very rarely: Melanistic and leucistic. Melanistic, more common among the two, are covered in deep dark brown or black fur and hair.
Leucistic types are beige or cream in color, with pink nose and purple or red eyes (see gallery for an example).

2,70-3m tall and around 2,30m long- Oabbis are visibly larger then horses or buffalos; a year old calf is already too big for most predators.
Wolf packs as big as 10 members are going only after lonely, old or diseased individuals- rare attacks on healthy oabbi herd always ends in a lot of wounds and/or deaths among (wolf) pack members.

Females: up to 2m70cm tall (8'10 ft)
Males: up to 3m tall (9'2 ft)

BODY: Bulky torso with six strong legs; long hair that covers back, neck and almost entire snout of the creature, except for the mouth and nose;

MUZZLE: Drooping, foggy eyes that serve no purpose to the animal; retracted jaw with two, visible bottom fangs.

- Huge fangs that no longer have any purpose, other then to scare predators
- Eyes - although they still have them, all of the oabbis are born blind

Fur, hair

Usually docile, oabbis get really territorial and agressive during mating season.

Charging at the attacker in order to trample them; if this doesn't suffice oabbis start kicking with both back and front legs- this, most often then not, does the job of killing the opponent.

Hearing - Oabbis are able to hear footsteps from 7km away; they also recognize individuals not only by their vocals, but also by the way their steps sound.

Eyesight- although they do have eyes hidden under their long hair, most of them, if not all, are blind.

People in Feyev keep oabbis as livestock and as working animals.
There is one place in Feyev that breed only leucistic animals- they use their fur and hair to sew the best quality clothing, that is not only beautiful but also very cold resistant; or to sell it off to people who make brushes.

Males can reach sexual maturity at 2.5-3 years of age, but older herd bulls usually prevent them from breeding until they are at least 7-8 years of age. Age of puberty is determined by body weight.

Oabbis mate at early spring, so they can give birth during warmer season next year (pregnancy takes 14 months)

Female do not calve every year; they give birth to 1 calf, and until it stops drinking milk, females do not partake in mating activities.
Interbirth intervals are 18-48 months; intervals tend to decrease as females age.

After reaching maturity offspring recognizes it's parents and vice versa. Young males never fight for domination against their fathers.
It is believed that even grandparents of an offspring have some sort of parental instincts towards it.

Although only mothers nurture their offspring, males are involved in protecting it's partner and calf from any danger.
It is very common for other herd members to partake or adopt a calf that has lost one or both of it's parents.

Due to having strong connections towards other members of their herd, oabbi calves rarely die to being hunted down. It is diseases and disabilities that are real danger to younglings- if a calf can't stand up or has trouble walking, it is most likely going to die in first week of it's life.
