The royal family is at the top, followed by the old families, the wealthy, the soldiers, the miners and magite workers, the merchants, and the common folk and servants.

One law stipulates that all children, upon reaching the age of 12, should be enrolled in at least one year of a combat program designed by the royal family.

Education is only offered to the wealthy and those who don't have to work to survive.

Winter is known for its biting cold and frequent snow showers.

The Domain was established when Fae gifted the area to Ka'van, the god of metallurgy and strength. He was the sole ruler of the people of Winter until Hex attacked and the gods were banished. After the Divide, a man named Damion Palks established a stronghold city for the scattered people. It was named Boarhelm, and soon people started mining the nearby mountain for a substance known as magite. This sparked a system of trade with the other Domains. Soon after, the Winter army was established to defend the people as they expanded outwards from Boarhelm. This eventually grew into the Winter we see today.
