Founding story - How was Cullen founded?

Cullen, named after the founder Alfrendo Cullen the Second, was a section of the southern country of Lidros after the 2nd son of the King Samson rebelled from the "corrupt" King Samson the 1st, and traveled north with an army and a series of followers, where they went over the mountains and into the valley lands of the Vatish people who were in the midst of a civil war between the major clans in the region.

Notable wars - What notable wars has Cullen participated in?

Cullen has been in two wars, including the "Founding War" which is the war of inhabitation when the Cullen founders invaded the north and took over the Western lands. The second part of the "Founding War", called the "Defense of the West", was the skirmish between the Cullen and Theostanese forces both invading the same area. The second, though technically a war, is not considered one in a way to 'save face', was the Vatish War, where the "last stand" of the Vatish people tried to attack a weakened capital right after the ending of the "Founding War", trying to free the slaves held there and killing the King. While Kind Cullen was killed, the capital was not taken, and a historical grievance was created. A slang term for Vatish slaves specially in the capital Agathan is "Cullen'mar", or Cullen killer.
