The soul typically takes a few days to heal if the tear is minor, but healing is paused if stress is continued to be exerted on the soul and deeper tears can take up to a year to heal if the tear is too deep.

It is rarely terminal, but tearing that rips through the soul can be fatal.

If a tear inevitably occurs, the best course of action is to reduce all forms of stress until it heals.
