Alareth finally paused to look over from his book. The light reflected off the lenses of his glasses for a moment before showing his hard gaze. His eyes were narrowed, pupils thin slits.

"She may be ridiculed for not being a full dragon, but it's best if you keep those thoughts to yourself. Dasaima can be quite ruthless to those who have told her that she will never amount to anything, simply because she is a Lindworm."
