Jade green
127 lbs
5’2
Dyed hair and bright clothes, that dastardly grin
Doesn’t really like little kids, like toddlers and sometimes 6-8 year olds. They always seemed whiny and annoying to him, even though he knows he was probably the same when he was that age.
Likes to keep his hands in his pockets, kinda slouchy sometimes
Tends to get snarky and rolls his eyes when annoyed
Talks really fast when excited
His voice goes deeper when he tries to talk in Japanese, or when he’s explaining something
His voice goes higher when he’s afraid.
Food, pure curiosity, knowledge, his friends, proving he’s right
He wishes he was allowed to explore himself and the world more. He often had to lie to experience the things he loves (Idk wrote this down and wasn’t sure where to put it)
Impulsive, insensitive, argumentative, keeps his true feelings hidden, either uninterested or FITE ME, there’s no in between
Basically an amateur detective/ random genius and quick thinker, knows just how to get under someone’s skin, lying, proving he’s right, going with the flow but also having his own opinions and preferences,
Listening to music, playing the drums, skateboarding, watching anime, hanging with friends, debating
ENTP, Debater
very energetic and extroverted, as well as argumentative. He wants to get the ideas behind things and usually does that through conversation- or debate. has a dry sarcastic sense of humor, and is sometimes self-deprecating. yeah, self-esteem often feels like a foreign concept to him, but it's not so bad. besides, therapy is too expensive, and using humor as a coping mechanism is free. generally, he is pretty jaded and disillusioned with things. he is a creative soul, though, and loves learning when he is fully in control of it. has a bit of a chaotic impulse streak and will do things just for the heck of it.
Oct. 1
Freshman in high school. Was always bored and never really paid any attention in class. Talkative, kind of a smart-aleck. Got B’s and A’s anyway. Possibly via the power of Google
Reed was born to Sean and Wren Darwin. They were helicopter parents; in the sense that they were afraid of who he might become, rather than if he got hurt. He’s allowed to like what he likes, but his parents always want to know who he’s hanging out with, what he’s doing online, etc. They are very strict and want him to be the child they want him to be. They were only worried about his physical safety during his early childhood.
When he was 7 years old, he became friends with Talon Pierce. I’d say their relationship resembled that of Fred and George from Harry Potter. The chaotic duo. Utter mad lads. They were popular in their school; they’d organize random stuff with the student body, whether it be in elementary or middle school. One time, they organized a flash mob. Another, they did an entire re-enactment of Romeo and Juliet during lunch period, filled to the brim with various memes and vines. Reed was Romeo, and Talon was Juliette. Sometimes these shenanigans would have consequences with either the school, or the boys’ parents, but sometimes they were surprisingly chill with it. “Eh, at least you didn’t cause property damage.”
A few years later, they met Lyn Ramirez and Josefine Thompson, who were already friends at the time. They bonded over their love of skateboarding, skating, biking, what have you. They’d often do that together, and just talk. Other times were spent apart. It was mostly a matter of who was available to spend time with who.
As he got into middle school, Reed became subconsciously determined to keep his life at school and with his friends separate from his life at home. He rarely talked about his friends in front of his parents, and vice versa. He often lied and hid things from his parents. He couldn’t help but feel that his parents would disapprove of his behavior, or worse, prevent him from doing the things he loves.
He met Archer Young in 7th grade. Well, it’s not like he didn’t know him, but Archer was one of the ‘quiet kids’ and Reed had never really paid attention to him. It was a random conversation in band about people’s favorite bands and artists. Archer, to everyone’s surprise, piped up. He mentioned one of Reed’s favorite artists and Reed was like “You. I like you.” And started hanging around and talking to him. Archer seemed both confused and appreciative of the attention. Reed introduced him to his other friends, and thus The Gang was born.
