Born into the royal house of Nylen, Garret was set to be king from a young age. Then, 26 years ago, Garret's mother and father, the King and Queen of Edia, were killed. Garret, as the crown prince, inherited the throne as a child, and faced a trial by fire as several kingdoms reeled in the face of these changes. Many thought Garret unfit for the throne, and Edia began to splinter. However, he proved his strength and held Edia together through its crisis, earning the respect of all parties. He is widely respected, but he himself is unaware and worried he will fade into the pages of history.
