Very messy, wavy. It covers his forehead and is a bit longer in the back.

Slim for his age but other than that it's average.
Rectangle/trapezoid shape.

Vitiligo on his forehead and hands, along with his ankles and feet. He hides it with his hair and gloves.

Paces (a lot), has a tendency to think out loud, stresses out very easily, often looks down at his feet or at the ground when he walks, walks with a fast pace, mumbled to himself, gets nervous quickly.

To return things back to normal and get back to his home.

Afraid of change. He just wants things to stay the same. Blunt and doesn’t react well in unfortunate situations. Due to this he can often be rash or often make assumptions. And when something doesn’t go right, he panics (a lot).

He second guesses people and himself, he’s quite the perfectionist. Not willing to compromise much and judges people quickly upon meeting them.

He often judges people before he even gets to know them, which is a bit of a problem that he is aware of.

He has a very good sense of direction, is very organized, good at creating maps, has a photographic memory, fast reader/writer.

Making maps. He never really had time for hobbies or was allowed to have them back home. But he did like to make little origami creatures in his spare time because he would see his grandfather do it and he would teach Forrest.

Forrest is a ‘stick to the plan’ kind of guy. Everything has to be perfect or else he’s not doing it. A perfectionist if you will. He knows he has a problem but doesn’t know how to fix it. A veryyy stubborn dude. He may act very tough but they all know he’s just a sweetheart and that he really just wants what’s best for himself and his friends. He’s always striving to do his best, even though he doesn’t always succeed. He cares for his friends and family a lot and will do whatever it takes to protect them.

A bit of OCD and some Anxiety.
With his ocd, if some things aren’t perfect he’s afraid that it can cause harm to others. Ex- if he does not pick up that item and put it back on the shelf, then someone may trip on it, break their leg, and it will be all his fault.
The same things goes with his anxiety. He does have panic attacks where he breathes heavily and sweats. He’s hyperventilated before because of this.

Both came from the fact that his parents expected him to do everything perfectly as a child, along with some of his own expectations he set for himself.

Though a majority of the story he is an inactive, but at some point his powers are activated.
He actually is a mapmaker for the Powers (government type group), well his family is at least, he’s a map maker in training. His family has a long line of aeroportation (the ability to teleport using wind and air currents) and it’s very helpful for their job since it allows them to scout out areas faster and more efficiently. Since powers are passed down through dna, that is the power he ends up with as well.

He believes there some type of higher being(s)/force, but doesn’t have an exact one.

He really doesn't think for himself when it comes to politics, since his family works for the powers, he is kind of forced to agree with whatever is decided by the powers. Though, there are some things he strongly disagrees with, especially since one of the laws have gotten him and his friends thrown out into the forest.

Any milkshakes or things like that. His family would get "milkshakes" and eat them together every saturday night and they eventually became his favorite.

His staff he got from his grandpa. His grandpa has now passed away and so it's very precious to him.

Creating maps and planning out buildings and the city.

Fern - though he would hate to admit it to her face, fern is one of his closest friends. After he got past her annoying part, he really liked the way she looks at things, like everything she lays her eyes on is special and beautiful. He really admires her because of it. Not to mention they have to spend 3/4 of their time together. And ps he might have an itty bitty crush on her oop-
Kai - Kai is like the brother Forrest never had. He looks up to him a lot, and basically is the only one who knows that he is part of the powers and he still has his magic.
Ivy - he thinks Ivys really chill. They get along well. He wishes more people were like her.
Rain - though he thinks Rains a bit of a smarta** sometimes, he really does like him though. He admires just how much he knows and how smart he is for his age.

March 18

He has a general education, but with the addition of map making, which only is available to the children of map makers.

Forrest was born into and raised in a high level family whose jobs were to map out the city and surrounding areas as the powers expanded the city. Due to the fast growing population, this was necessary so they could expand their wall farther to make room for more people.. So from a very young age, he was taught to follow orders and also to memorize the exact layout of the city and surrounding area. He never had much free time when he was younger, but he didn’t know any different so it didn’t bother him. He also didn’t have many friends, but again, he was ok with this.

His family forced him to cover up his vitiligo and taught him that he should hide it because it was not acceptable to have it, especially to be a map maker for the powers and have it. He loved his family but didn’t understand why they wouldn’t let him live a normal childhood like other children. They would tell him it’s because he’s blessed to have such a wonderful opportunity, but now he would say the opportunity is a curse, even though map making is part of his passion. Eventually, it came time for his powers to be unleashed, his weren’t able to be activated so he was taken from his family and to wherever the powers take the inactive.

Relationship - Their relationship is okay with Forrest but it could be better. They were very strict with him and due to this it caused him to have a lack of trust in them and make him feel almost like a prisoner.
