Marcus is kind and caring, offering jobs to those who couldn't find them otherwise, such as Ansel Beauregard. Oliver Warren may be the face of the rebellion, but Marcus is the brains, scheduling operations and plans alongside running his restaurant. He offers a steady rock to the other members, taking in his nephew Jonathan Revis after the execution of Jon's sister, as well as Ansel and Kira Duncan. While his temper does sometimes get the better of him, he does his best to be a good role model for them.
