edit Notes
Notes

Prior to age 17, they’re really self-conscious about their appearance and femininity. Until they realize that they’re not a girl (or guy) and start becoming more comfortable in their skin. They used to have really long (ass length) hair, and they shave it down to a buzz cut, finally being able to show their heterochronic eyes. They are a lot less anxious and bad-feeling and etc. after they start becoming more comfortable with themselves. Their parents viewpoints on sexual diversity aren’t really specified yet, although they’re just glad that Ren is finally starting to be happy with themselves. Whether or not their parents take them seriously with their gender isn’t specified yet. They probably learn to respect their pronouns more to show support and care for them, and less because they actually understand the concept of gender diversity.
