Harlow (Last name unknown)
Harlow is both the comic relief and the maniac at the same time. She's such a loveable character and her role is definitely important, despite the fact that there's something undoubtedly dark and twisted up in her head.
Given the fact that she didn't even know her name up until the start of this book, there haven't been many nicknames formulating, but I can see Nick or Cas calling her Harley. The only reason I've been restraining from this cute nickname is that her character has a similar name and persona to that of the DC supervillain Harley Quinn and I'd rather not push that nickname in order to stay as original as possible. XD
Female
Harlow has no records of her past but she is believed to be around 16 years old.
120 pounds
She is around 5 foot 9"
I do love my weird hair, so Harlow, while being born brunette, deciding to dye her hair green after escaping the supermax jail. You know, to change things up after 5 years in prison...
She isn't one to put too much effort into her appearance, which doesn't matter due to her natural beauty, but she can be seen with her hair in a ponytail, pigtails, or just hanging long and wavy.
n/a
Crystal blue
A genetically modified human weapon.
Pale white, due to years of no sun exposure
She has a fairly boney build, with average size features. She is pretty, but intimidating at the same time.
Her icy stare, bright green hair.
- Fidgeting
- Maniacal laughter that scares away most, unless they're used to it
- Avoiding small spaces (but this applies to Cress as well for obvious reasons)
- Bouncing in place
Her drive is probably the fact that she wants to experience the world. She has no memory or origin story as far as she knows, and the world is an interesting place for her. She's more of a threat to it as it is to her, so she has nothing to worry about.
I love Harlow personally, but she isn't perfect nor wholesome in any way shape or form. She is past the point of saving in the mental health department, hence her maniacal thoughts, ability to kill/harm with ease, and her tendency to talk to herself openly. Of course, growing up in a literal cell didn't teach her a sense of right and wrong.
Harlow hates lying and cheating. She is, if anything, a very open human. She voices her thoughts, however twisted, and doesn't cheat in life. She knows that there are far worse things in this world than having o work hard because she's experienced so much in the past 6 years. This is why her and Cress didn't get along so well, due to his sociopathic tendencies and pathological lying.
Does murder and hand to hand combat sound dark? Well, it is. And she's good at it. Her other talents include drawing and a sense of humour even in the most terrifying of times.
I would say her hobbies are the same as her talents. ^
How do I put this gently...
Insane.
Borderline psychosis, which she seems to handle better than Nick.
I would say depression, but her twisted thoughts about ending herself were honestly just her being bored and yes, a bit depressed at the time, but anyone in her situation would be. Once in the real world, she had no suicidal thoughts. At least, fewer ones...
Unknown
Middle school academically, but mentally she is 16
Okay, we're in for a wild ride my dudes...spoiler alert
Harlow was abducted by the FBI at the young age of 11 for reasons that her family was never allowed to know, and of course you would think an average loving family, or honestly, anyone decent, wouldn't let this happen without a fight, but her birth family was far from loving, and legitimately didn't mind. Little did they know that their daughter who they has constantly neglected for the last 11 years had been one of the most powerful beings on their very planet. As a baby, Harlow and Nick (who we'll talk about later) were born with two genes that had never been seen in human existence before. Well, an extra gene to be exact. Of course, you had the genes from her parents, but then one other. IT was a mystery to doctors. The laws of science alone could not explain it. But there was something inside her. Something dangerous inside her. So dangerous that it could mean the end of life as we know it. She didn't know it was there nor how to activate it, but at age 11 things became too risky with her living freely in the world, and she was put into prison under the USP supermax jail in colorado in a special secret cell underground. This was to contain her from the world, but as a result, she was isolated for 6 entire years of her life and became a little bit, you know, insane. And that was going to go on forever until the events of my book, where both her and Nick are released into a world that have no idea how to navigate nor do they have any idea why they are there, yet everything seems so familiar at the same time. And they aren't released to be free, no. They are released because the FBI thought it unintelligent to waste these kid's powers. They both were hired by the government along with their newfound kleptomaniac friend (Cas) to put a stop to a war that takes place in the year 3000. The war could mean the end of everything. Unless these three mental case kids, Harlow included, have the strength to stop it. All.

s a t a n i s m...just kidding...she has no religion
This story is not based around political parties in any way, but I'm guessing that Harlow has no preference.
Hired agent by the FBI, due to her genetic powers. Yes, she's only 16, but with her abilities, the government needed her.
Neon colors, like green and yellow. Maybe blue. Oh, and definitely pink.
Sugary stuff and uHm...drugs
She isn't materialistic so I can't think of anyone of importance.
Knives
Cats
Same as her occupation....
