His twin sister is Emeline and the years before the war were filled with happy memories and him scaring off boys for her. He was always the more outgoing one along with there younger sister. When Emeline decided to be the first to test the serum he followed right behind her. There younger sister was upset that she had to wait to also take the serum but he always reassured her. When his mom and sister died it hurt him and he became more protective of Emeline and helped her keep dad stable. When Xander got older Keir fell in love with him and got his heart broke when he proposed to Emeline. Of course he told her about his feelings but was the one who encouraged her to go along with the marriage knowing it was for the best.
