Extremely perceptive about people's weaknesses and insecurities even when she isn't using her powers. She is telepathic, she can't always "switch it off". Effie is extremely intelligent if a little kooky. She is an expert botanist (mostly to grow her own marijuana but she also likes the idea that plants don't think) and she can pick things up with her toes with ease. She is very nimble and flexible (she says she used to go to gymnastics classes). Sometimes people think she can teleport because she can pop up anywhere in different outfits. She is very good at makeup and has a good eye for fashion and she can run in heels as well as being very alcohol tolerant. Effie is quite an emotive and talented writer and poet. She's an expert seductress and occasionally acts as a honey trap in missions but she finds it demeaning and dislikes the idea of seducing someone she doesn't find attractive. Her telepathy normally is limited to reading minds but sometimes in extreme cases or if she's under a lot of pressure she can use her powers offensively but this is draining to her.

Giggling, tapping her fingers rhythmically on a surface, licking her lips, scratching, biting her thumb, jumping her legs up and down. Effie normally adopts a lazy and disinterested pose like a bored child. Sometimes you'll look and see that she's covered her ears and shut her eyes, this is when she's surrounded by too much pain. Flicks her bedazzled lighter on and off quite often to pass the time. Often has a strange and dark sense of humour, a byproduct of being exposed to so much suffering. She likes to pop up when you least expect her

Hedonism

Her addiction can cause her to be selfish and manipulative, doesn't seem to mind poking around in people's heads and doesn't have any real boundaries, doesn't like blood or gore which is a flaw in her business, plays twisted psychological mind games when she's bored. She is amoral and unpredictable and somewhat immature. Has a mild case of kleptomania and has an unreliable memory.

Doesn't seem to like people who have had it too easy, especially since she can feel people's suffering. Struggles with being told what to do, especially by older men, hinting at an abusive past.

Depraved, confident, kooky, eccentric and entirely uncanny as can be expected from a telepath. Effie's constant overexposure to the darkest corners of people's minds causes her to drown her sorrows in drugs and alcohol and partying. She's in charge of her sexuality and cares very little what others think of her. Beneath the quirky and off-beat exterior is quite a lonely, bright and profoundly unhappy young woman who generally means well even if she has the moral compass of a pirate. Her idiosyncratic personality is, to a degree, simply who she is but she exaggerates it to make people underestimate her. Who would think a ditzy cloudcuckoolander could be dangerous? A guy who will probably end up dead that's who.
