Asperger's

Tsks often, will fix your hair/brush something off your face while he talks to you. He doesn't realize that he's doing it unless you point it out --he even does it to complete strangers. Places his hands almost comically over his mouth when surprised or upset. Eyes water whenever he laughs. Slouches and crosses his arms a lot to make himself appear smaller since he feels unusually tall and doesn't like to take up much space.

Enjoys challenging himself and his mind. Loves to pursue things that he doesn't understand.

-Analytical. August makes sharp observations about people and things without thinking about the consequences. Since he has an extremely low emotional intelligence, he makes comments about people and hurts them without realizing. If he truly hurts someone and he realizes it, he'll do his best to amend the wrong, but typically doesn't care all that much if someone's feelings are hurt.
-Confusing. August gets flustered easily and has trouble explaining what he's thinking because his thoughts are moving so fast. Often starts in the middle of a thought and jumps all over the place so that no one can follow him. Genuinely doesn't mean to do this.
-Looks hostile and unapproachable. He has a major RBF and he is always slouching and crossing his arms.
-Laughs at inappropriate times, especially when he's uncomfortable.

-Hates loud people. (He and Daso butt heads for a while)

INTP-T. At first glance, August seems uninterested and emotionally withdrawn. However, he is genuinely that calm, and prefers to have conversations uninhibited by sensitivity or emotion. He doesn't show his affection by traditional means, but instead focuses on being helpful and making sure everyone's safe. He'll often blandly/bluntly ask questions that sound a bit rude at first, but its really him worrying about his friends. If he's asking about someone, at all, he's genuinely invested in them. He matches Nyir's wit quite frequently, and the two of them bond over the fact that neither of them really want to be concerned with strong or visible emotions. He's VERY excitable about things he's interested in, especially new suit designs or tech he's been working on. However, his words usually become a tumble of confusion when he tries to explain his work to anyone else. He has enough trouble keeping track of his thought process without trying to explain it to someone else. He's quite sarcastic and funny, although he often doesn't really realize he's doing it and can be quite confused when people laugh at something he's said. Other times he'll layer the sarcasm on to thick, causing him to hurt someone inadvertently or causing his jokes to fall flat. He's a rather extreme introvert, and doesn't like getting his hands dirty. However, he is a viable asset to the team through his intelligence and innovation.

Economically and financially Conservative/Republican. Leans a bit more left for social views, but tends to avoid talking about or thinking about social politics.

Loosely Buddhist, he was raised with fairly flexible views and doesn't really question them, nor does he pay much attention to anything remotely religious.

Masters degree in Computer Science

Born to two fairly average parents who weren't really sure how to communicate with him. After he was diagnosed with Asperger's, they spent even less time with him, feeling "justified" in not understanding him. Already a quiet kid, he withdrew into himself even more as time went on. Always loved puzzles and reading and inventing things. Dropped out of high school to homeschool himself since he said the high school wasn't teaching him anything. Became socially inept but extremely clever. Graduated with a high score on his ACT, so he got a full ride scholarship to a college. He met Dara Argen there. They became fast friends, so while she was getting her doctorate, he was getting his masters. They both were recruited into SAIP.
